What we do.
REESHA is a 501(C)3 nonprofit already operating on the ground in Kabul, Afghanistan. We impact the lives of the most needy who have been displaced by the Taliban. So far, we have:
Fed hot meals to more than 6,000 displaced persons.
Helped evacuate at-risk families.
Provided a month’s worth of food for more than 30 families.
Created jobs and economic opportunities.
In the course of meeting these families’ basic needs, we also take the time to survey them and understand their broader needs. Without exception, each family we’ve met has overwhelmingly expressed a desire to go home, back to their original provinces to be able to start their lives over again.
To that end, REESHA ultimately aims to resettle displaced Afghan families in Kabul to their home provinces. REESHA supplies displaced families with food, temporary lodging, and access to medical attention and educational assistance.
